Dr. Shawna Johnston is a board certified female pelvic medicine and pelvic floor reconstructive surgeon, gynecologist and obstetrician. She completed her medical schooling and residency training at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She then travelled to London, England to complete fellowship training in female urology and pelvic floor surgery. In 1996, she returned to Kingston to establish a thriving clinical practice. Dr. Johnston is the current Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen’s University and Program Medical Director for the Women’s and Children’s Program at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Her clinical focus remains on menopause care, incontinence care and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery. With passion and expertise, she offers solutions for women to improve bladder and vaginal health.
